A well thought out marketing strategy spells out your business goals and list out the activities to achieve these goals. /p>

  • It's charting out an action plan of all that you need to do over a period of time that includes possibly multiple markets, multiple channels, multiple products and services using different means at your disposal.
  • It is trying to foresee what needs to be done to be where you want to be at the end of an year, or two years or five.
  • It is to identify your ideal customers and their needs, likings, behaviors and plan to take advantage of each of these factors to bring in more customers who pay better, more often.
  • It involves identifying your markets and your potential markets.
  • It also identifies profitable and non-profitable markets.
  • It involves identifying who your target customer is and who is not.
  • It involves identifying who is most satisfied with your product and what more can be done to attract them.
  • It might also encompass revamping the positioning of existing products or the introduction of new products.
